Dosages: 1000-2000IU EOD. HCG 5000 IU, containing 5000 (IU) International Units of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is commonly used in bodybuilding to stimulate the testes to produce testosterone. It mimics the luteinizing hormone (LH), which signals the testes to produce both testosterone and sperm. HCG is often used during or after anabolic steroid cycles to maintain or restore normal testosterone levels, preventing testicular atrophy and helping to preserve muscle mass and fertility.

SideEffects: While generally considered safe when used correctly, HCG can cause side effects such as headaches, mood swings, and occasional pain at the injection site. More serious side effects, though rare, can include gynecomastia (development of breast tissue in men) due to increased aromatization of testosterone to estrogen. Excessive use of HCG can also lead to desensitization of the Leydig cells in the testes, potentially impairing natural testosterone production.
